Just in time for the holiday entertaining season, learn how to make one of India’s most well-known and quintessential appetizers, the Samosa with Arvinda’s Spices & Chai! We’ll make two delicious baked Samosas with two different fillings—a Curried Potato & Peas filling and Sweet Potato & Spinach filling along with the perfect accompaniment: Sweet & Tangy Garam Masala Tamarind Date Chutney. The class will finish off with a Arvinda’s Christmas Masala Chai tasting, newly launched in time for the holidays! This class is interactive and everyone will get a chance to make their own Samosas.

In this class, join Arvinda’s to learn the basics on how to use spices to create a delicious and well-balanced full Indian meal where vegetables and lentils take centre stage and are amped up with spices and masalas. Our menu starts with Vegetarian Flaky Baked Samosas with Tamarind Date Chutney, followed by a tasty South Indian Coconut Vegetable Curry with curry leaves, Masoor Dal ~ Red Lentil Curry, Jeera Basmati Rice Pullao and Carrot Pickles with Green Chilies. In this class we’ll also share our love and tradition of making an Authentic Masala Chai.
