Authentic Masala Chai
made with Arvinda's Chai Masala

1 CUP | cold filtered water |
2 ½ TSP. | black loose leaf tea OR 2 black tea bags |
½ TSP. (to ¾ TSP.) | ARVINDA’S CHAI MASALA |
¾ CUP | milk |
Sugar, to taste milk |
In a small or medium pot, bring the water to a boil.
Add the tea and ARVINDA’S CHAI MASALA and boil for a couple of minutes.
Add the milk and the sugar and bring the tea up to a second boil. When the tea boils to the top of the pot, reduce the heat to medium and simmer for a couple more minutes. The Masala Chai should be a rich caramel colour.
Strain into a mug, or two smaller tea cups. Serve hot and enjoy!
