Cranberry Pear Madras Chutney

Add a little Indian spice to your holiday table or cheese board!

This festive chutney is the perfect balance of sweet and heat, making it versatile for holiday feasts, a cheese board, a baked brie condiment, a samosa dipping sauce, a condiment for any Indian meal or on an Indian thali.

If you plan on serving this with turkey, consider adding a couple of tablespoons of water to make it more saucy.

Cranberry Pear Madras Chutney

Add a couple of tablespoons of water to make this chutney more saucy.

Ingredients:
2 large anjou pears, grated
1/2 CUP fresh cranberries
1/4 CUP raw cane sugar
2 TSP. ARVINDA'S MADRAS MASALA
1/2 TSP. apple cider vinegar
Pinch sea salt

Directions:
1) In a small pot, add all the ingredients and mix to combine.
2) Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally for 20 to 30 minutes or until the moisture is absorbed and the fruit is reduced and caramelized.
3) Serve on the side as condiment.
