All-Canadian Mapled Salmon
made with Arvinda's Canadiana
Canadian, eh? We’re showing up in all red & white with this 100% all Canadian spice blend! A perfect seasoning for your salmon, the Quebec maple sugar caramelizes with the coriander seeds and Ontario garlic to create just the right amount of crust on the outside. A hint of floral from the Niagara lavender lingers as a finishing top note. Also try this amazing delicate spice blend on roasted baby potatoes with olive oil or sauté with side vegetables. This couldn’t be any more Canadian.

2 | salmon filets |
2 TBSP. | olive oil |
2 TBSP. | ARVINDA’S CANADIANA |
1/2 TSP. | sea salt, or to taste |
2 TSP. | lemon juice |
Pat dry the salmon filets.
In a large heavy bottom non-stick skillet, gently heat oil on medium. Sprinkle in ARVINDA’S CANADIANA and sauté for a couple of minutes, until the spices become fragrant.
Place the salmon in the skillet and cook on one side for 3 to 4 minutes depending on the thickness or until the colour changes halfway through the filets. Season with salt.
Flip over and cook on the other side for a couple more minutes, or until you reach the desired doneness. Squeeze with lemon before serving.
