Lemongrass Masala Chai
made with Arvinda's Lemongrass Chai Masala
Lush, lemony and perfumy, lemongrass adds a strikingly bright citrus flavour to your daily masala chai! This exotic lemongrass chai is also the perfect complement after a flavourful Thai or Malaysian menu. Adjust the water, black tea, and milk to customize your cup of Masala Chai as you like. For an intense flavour, use more Arvinda's Lemongrass Chai Masala, or use less for a nuanced cup.

1 CUP | water |
1 ½ TSP. | black loose leaf tea OR 1 black tea bag |
¾ TSP. | ARVINDA’S LEMONGRASS CHAI MASALA |
⅔ CUP | milk |
1 TBSP. | raw cane sugar, or to taste |
In a small or medium pot, bring the water to a boil.
Add the tea and ARVINDA’S LEMONGRASS CHAI MASALA and boil for a couple of minutes.
Add the milk and the sugar and bring the tea up to a second boil. When the tea boils to the top of the pot, reduce the heat to medium and simmer for a couple more minutes.
Strain into a mug, or two smaller tea cups. Serve hot and enjoy!
